Automatic Tool Change The Automatic Tool Change (ATC) system consists of a chain-type, circular-type, or array-type tool magazine, a mechanical hand path on the column or the tool magazine, and a mechanical hand equipped with a double-fork rotating arm. A robotic tool exchange system solution can also be adopted. Tools are searched through encoding in the tool magazine. This device can also automatically change tools in the horizontal and vertical directions of the milling head. According to customer needs, different storage capacities can be chosen (40, 60, 80, 120 or other capacities based on customer requirements).
